Pricing Variables
Dry cleaning is not a one-price-fits-all service. Garments differ widely in fabric type, construction, and the level of care required to clean them properly. A simple cotton shirt can be cleaned quickly and efficiently, while garments made from wool, silk, linen, or delicate blends often require specialized solvents, lower temperatures, or additional finishing time.
Stain treatment can also affect the process. Some stains require pre-spotting, multiple cleaning cycles, or careful hand treatment to safely remove them without damaging the fabric.
Because of these factors, pricing reflects the time, materials, and expertise required to properly care for each type of garment.
Certain items require specialized cleaning techniques beyond standard garment care. Wedding gowns, formal wear, leather, suede, vintage garments, and heavily embellished pieces often need delicate handling and customized cleaning methods.
These items may involve hand cleaning, protective finishing, or special packaging to preserve their condition. Because the process varies depending on the garment, specialty items are typically evaluated individually to ensure the safest and most effective care.
Our goal is always to preserve the fabric, structure, and appearance of garments that are often valuable or irreplaceable.
Alterations vary significantly depending on the garment and the type of adjustment required. A simple hem may take only a short time, while tailoring jackets, adjusting waistlines, or reconstructing seams requires considerably more precision and labor.
Fabric type, garment construction, lining, and decorative elements can also influence the complexity of the work. For this reason, alterations are best evaluated in person so the proper fit and finish can be achieved.
Our experienced alteration specialists work carefully to ensure your garments fit comfortably and maintain their original style and structure.
